Cliff Lede Vineyards

Cliff Lede Vineyards is a family-owned estate in Napa Valley’s Stags Leap District, founded in 2002 by Cliff Lede with a clear focus on site expression and precision farming. The property is anchored by two distinct estate vineyards, including the steep hillside Poetry Vineyard and the valley-floor blocks surrounding the winery, giving the portfolio a natural range of structure, texture, and aromatic detail. Cabernet Sauvignon is the center of gravity, supported by Sauvignon Blanc and small-lot bottlings drawn from specific parcels.

The estate’s personality is part of its identity, most famously through the “Rock Blocks,” a vineyard map where individual blocks are named after classic songs and albums. Today the winery is firmly multigenerational, with Cliff’s son, Jason Lede, leading the next chapter. Winemaking is directed by Christopher Tynan with winemaker Travis Bullard, shaping wines that reflect Stags Leap District’s signature balance of power and refinement and an estate-first commitment to consistency and long-term stewardship.
