Kilikanoon

Kilikanoon is a Clare Valley benchmark founded in 1997 by winemaker Kevin Mitchell, built around an obsessive focus on site expression and South Australia’s most distinctive terroirs. The early identity of the winery was shaped by single-vineyard bottlings from Mitchell family sites, and that “vineyard-first” philosophy remains the spine of the portfolio today.

Kilikanoon has earned major recognition over time, including being named Australian Winery of the Year by James Halliday, and its flagship Oracle Shiraz has been awarded “World’s Best Shiraz” multiple times in international competition. The style is classic Clare Valley in intent: structured, detailed, and ageworthy, with a range that spans powerful reds and precise, mineral whites.
