Lubanzi is a South African wine brand born in Cape Town with a clear focus on Chenin Blanc from the Swartland, one of the country’s most distinctive regions for the variety. The house style leans bright and textural, shaped by a mix of Swartland soils including decomposed granite and shale, with fruit drawn from both mature trellised vineyards and old, dry-farmed bush vines. Chenin Blanc is the centerpiece: aromatic, citrus-and-stone-fruit driven, and built around freshness and mineral detail, with an unoaked, lees-influenced profile that reads clean and food-friendly.

Beyond Chenin Blanc, Lubanzi also offers a crisp Sauvignon Blanc, vibrant reds anchored by organically farmed Shiraz, and a sparkling Rosé designed for casual, celebratory service.
