Martinelli is a Russian River Valley family winery with roots as grape growers dating to the late 1880s. Best known for the steep, historic Jackass Hill Vineyard, Martinelli has long been a reference point for powerful, site-driven California wines, with a focus on single-vineyard Zinfandel, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The family’s winemaking story includes an enviable roster of talent, including a period working with Helen Turley, and the estate remains defined by hands-on farming, old-vine material and a rich, concentrated house style that still holds detail and place.
