Rhum J.M is an estate-driven Martinique rhum agricole defined by volcanic terroir at the foot of Mount Pelée. Unlike molasses-based rum, rhum agricole is distilled from fresh-pressed sugarcane juice, which gives the spirit its signature lift: bright, vegetal aromatics, mineral tension, and a clean, dry finish that reads as sugarcane, not sweetness. J.M’s identity is rooted in proximity and freshness, with cane grown on the distillery’s volcanic slopes and processed quickly to preserve aromatic clarity.
