Truchard Vineyards

Truchard is one of Carneros’ foundational vineyards, farmed by a multigenerational family with a long track record as a premier fruit source. The site’s rolling hills, bay influence, and cool breezes create the kind of long, even growing season that Carneros does best, supporting Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and a range of red varieties with freshness and detail.

Beyond its own bottlings, Truchard has become a reference-point vineyard for other producers, with long-standing relationships that underscore the quality and reliability of the farming. The name shows up in vineyard-designate programs by other Napa benchmark wineries (often at two to three times the price of Truchard-labeled bottlings) precisely because it delivers what top winemakers want from Carneros: balance, texture, and natural lift.
