Viña Pomal

Viña Pomal is the flagship Rioja label of Bodegas Bilbaínas, founded in Haro in 1901 and long established as one of the original houses of the Ríoja Alta “station quarter” era. A defining strength is estate control: Bilbaínas farms one of the largest vineyard holdings in Haro, an approach that remains relatively uncommon in Rioja and allows a more château-like continuity from vineyard to bottle. The style is classic Rioja in spirit, built around Tempranillo-led structure, balance, and dependable polish.
